Welcome to TASKO. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the information you process within our application. This policy outlines how your data is handled when using our services.
1. Data Collection & Usage
TASKO is designed to function with minimal data collection. We do not require you to create an account with our servers. Your data (tasks, notes, and categories) is created by you and for you.
2. Storage and Cloud Sync
Your data is stored in two ways:
- Local Storage: By default, all tasks and schedules are stored locally on your device using a secure database.
- Google Drive Sync: If you choose to enable backup, TASKO uses your own Google Drive account to store data. We do not have access to your other Drive files; we only create a private folder for TASKO backups.
3. Wear OS Integration
Our Wear OS application strictly acts as a companion. It syncs with your mobile device to display your tasks. No additional data is collected through the watch application.
4. Third-Party Services
TASKO does not include third-party advertising or data-mining SDKs. We use standard Google Play Services for:
- App updates and security verification.
- Google Drive API (only if you trigger a manual backup).
5. Permissions
We only ask for permissions that make the app work better for you:
- Alarms & Notifications: To remind you of your scheduled tasks.
- Internet: To sync your data with your Google Drive (optional).
